Ten decisions shape your life, you'll be aware of 5 about, 7 ways to go through school, either you're noticed or left out, 7 ways to get ahead, 7 reasons to drop out, when i said ' I can see me in your eyes', you said 'I can see you in my bed', that's not just friendship that's romance too, you like music we can dance to, Sit me down, Shut me up, i'll calm down, and i'll get along with you, There is a time when we all fail, some people take it pretty well, some take it all out on themselves, some they just take it out on friends, oh everybody plays the game, and if you don't you're called insane, Don't don't don't don't it's not safe no more, i've got to see you one more time, soon you were born, in 1984, Sit me down, shut me up, i'll calm down, and i'll get along with you, Everybody was well dressed, and everybody was a mess, 6 things without fail you must do, so that your woman loves just you, oh all the girls played mental games, and all the guys were dressed the same, Why not try it all, if you only remember it once, |

| A Random Thought :') |
[Apr. 6th, 2011|09:40 pm] |
As random as it gets, I truly miss my grandfather. When I woke up today, I had this sudden (ridiculous) thought of taking a bus to Clementi to visit him. Of course, that was a ridiculous thought.
I actually typed down two chunks of paragraphs but decided to delete it. I figured if I were to continue what I had written, my keyboard would proly be drenched in tears.
I remembered, during my cousin's 13th birthday, my grandfather actually prayed and give his blessings for my birthday instead. He gladly announced my 17th birthday (which was in another 4 months at that time) and prayed for my safety and health. He also prayed for my success and longetivity followed by a speech on how fond he is of my name. Funny thing was, while he was trying hard to convey his speech, everyone was (laughing hard) trying to tell him it's NOT my birthday. But well, we let the him continued.
At this point of time, my grandfather was almost immobile. He could hardly sit in his wheelchair because it gets too tiring for him. Of course, I cried a little then because he actually managed to remember my age at that point of time <3 Of course, we succesfully told him that it's not my birthday and got him to say his blessings for my cousin too. Heh, poor kiddo. Weird and strangely, at that point of time, I knew the very reason why he did that and it made me flinched a little.
Because for my 17th birthday, he was actually wishing me from above.

TAADAA! Finally, I am not lazy enough to post about my Cinnamon Rolls. Honestly, I was quite hesitant to make these. I have never used in yeast in any of my baking hence I was feeling anxious as to whether my dough will rise or not. I have always loved anything with cinnamon however I was not a die hard fan of McDee's rolls cos they are just too sweet! Can cut my leg sia that one!
And so, here we go! ( Let's keep rolling ... ) MMHMM. Beat that, McDees! :D The recipe - Piooneer Woman's Cinnamon Rolls She's an awesome baker/cook/mom. Truly an inspiration!
