Some people are just so full of themselves, they need to go bang their heads to realize that.
School is draining and demanding at the same time. I can't wait to bake more goods and rest comfortably on oppa's my bed!

It's been a long long time since I baked/cooked and posted it up here in my journal. I'm just going be honest and say that I am extremely busy. Really! ㅠ_ㅠ
However, Mom recently pestered me to make the biscuit-scones we always have at the beloved Popeyes! Awesome chicken; Juicy, tender and just oh so sinful *salivates*. Beats any other chicken outlet, hands down! Therefore, I did my research and retrieved the recipe from my all time favourite baking site, JoyofBaking. The site is the ultimate baking dictionary/bible for me. I always refer to the site whenever I'm feeling all "free" and itchy to bake.
Therefore, woke up early, did some errands and off to NTUC. Grocery shopping is the next best thing to plain old shopping-and-strutting-down-town. Now, there are many types of scones to choose from and make. I was pretty nervous at first, fearing the dough won't rise or will taste all different from the one at Popeyes. But, it won't hurt to try right?
 Apparently, these are the first batch to be baked. As you can see, I rolled the dough too thinly. The result ...  They literally looked like BISCUITS My hope was crushed but this means that you just have to improvise right?  Despite their flatten exterior, they tasted just the same ^^V
 Therefore, I rolled the dough thicker and the result was ... Better! *jumps around*  Mom insisted that it MUST look like Popeye's. To me, it didn't really matter as long as the taste is the same!
However, don't you think her's looks like Popeyes? O.o
 NOM NOM NOM! The subsequent batches turned out just fine :D  I am going to try it with the ginger-lemon marmalade! YUMS~ AH GO GO GO TRY! ^___^D |

One word - Interesting. Alright, so maybe "Interesting" is a bit under rated heh? But by far, this is one of those books that sets you thinking. I don't know, but sometimes when I am done reading a book, some of them sets me thinking, hard. I must say, Toru is one hell of a player but somehow his character had this good 'weird" nature. Maybe he was just confused? Nagasawa is a downright asshole, no further elaboration needed. &I wondered what happened to Storm Trooper hmm ~ Summary@WikiSomehow I wished Toru would just forget about Naoko and make Midori happy. I loved how Reiko was there for him, talking to him as if they knew each other for years. Their relationship was no ordinary one. She was not just a friend neither was he, her boyfriend. They were not lovers but they connected their bodies together. They enjoyed each other's company which in my perspective is really precious.
Reiko was definitely my favourite character. Her honesty, bravery and basically her presence in the story made it less ordinary and extra intriguing from the other stories I have read. She was there for everybody and willing to help anybody. She let her own self suffer and even isolated herself from her daughter and ex-husband, forever. Her courage should be applauded :)

I purposely waited for this MV yesterday. I've been watching it for umm-teen times and I still can't get over the fact that he didn't get the girl lol. Some even said it was because he was too slow reaching for the ring cos his pants were too tight. Aww, poor Youngbae ~ The fact that he never had a girlfriend shocked me endlessly. I wonder why he chose the female lead personally hmm :3
Inkigayo tomorrow is gonna be awesome! Park Bom + Taeyang = *o*

Obviously this blog is getting rusty and forgotten (kua kua kua)
The reason why I am absolutely busy nowadays is plaintively due to school - T.T. Besides that, I am all good ~ A lot of good and bad things have been happening. I am really tired of the kpop's world drama. But I guess, We are never Tired Of Waiting for that special someone to come back. The only thing that is pulling our nerves is when will there ever be a closure to all this crap?! (DBSK, 2PM ~) I We really want some end to this? So that our fangirl hearts can be crushed immediately rather than being beaten slowly like this !!!
On the brighter side, my Thursday and Friday nights are always 반짝반짝 !!! Why? Because of AN.JELL of course!

We are all having a breakkie/mini-celebration at McDees tomorrow for her before lecture. Tomorrow IS her actually birthday ^^

I want to throw myself onto the bed (like I always do) and sleep! The weather is absolutely perfect to just snuggle and sleep tight. Sadly, I am stuck reading up my Hangul because there's a mini quiz tomorrow, Sunsangnim insisted -.-" She's pretty btw and she caught me dancing to Hot Issue just because I was explaining to Pq that Mori = Head.

Met Bibeh just now after so long! She handed me my pressie (LOL), a perfect reminder to start saving up for Korea Trip which will happen on one fine day. Obviously we had the usual verbal vomit sessions about "stuffs" that has been happening. It was nice to share with her my thoughts on certain things. She truly nows how I like things to be and how it should be <3
Now, 20 minutes is gone because of this. I need to focus on the Hangul now, gahhhhhhh!

It was truly a wonderful 18th birthday celebration! Many thanks to the lovely people around me :)
The family, because of the "surprise" they prepared during our dinner at Carousel! The midnight calls/ messages by my awesome and lovely friends. Not to forget, Shafiq's live rendition of Happy Birthday at 2 in the morning. My lovely Tweet Mates for the shout-outs and of course those who flooded my FB wall with birthday greetings! Indeed, I felt happy turning eighteen :D
